Wordless Wednesday: My First Estate Sale Treasure! {linky}
Hubby and I discovered the magic of an estate sale this weekend. We brought home a few really amazing pieces, but this tea trolley is my biggest prize.
It only cost us $25 and it needs a little bit of love, but it is an absolutely PERFECT addition to our new home!

DeleteThat is an amazing find. I would tend to leave it as is for fear of losing it's value. The design on the front leaf is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteWe want to leave it as intact as possible, but the hinges on the leaves don't hold anymore- they need to be replaced. Also, the knob on the drawer is broken, there is a push handle you can't see in the picture that won't stay in place, and there are scratches and gashes in the varnish. Some hardware fixes and a little sanding and revarnishing should do it!

Ive never gone to one, always wanted to though. What a cute table I love it!

It was our first. We were on our way home from a family breakfast and we saw a sign on the corner. We figured why not stop in before nap time and just take a peek around- it was so worth it!
